Cirrus Transition Course VFR
The transition course is designed for licensed pilots (non-instrument rated) who wish to fly Cirrus aircraft. If you are current but have never flown a Cirrus, the transition course, designed by Cirrus, has excellent structure and can be completed in approximately 10 hours of in flight training with one of our CSIP Instructors. The Transition Course utilizes Cirrus’ online computer training portal.
After completion, combined with some VFR flying of your own, you will become proficient and comfortable with the airplane in VFR conditions. In a very short time, you will undoubtedly become a fan of the capable Cirrus Aircraft.
Cirrus Advanced Transition Course IFR
The CirrusIFR Transition Course is designed for instrument rated pilots who have never flown Cirrus Aircraft. The course will transition current and proficient instrument rated pilots into a Cirrus SR20 or SR22 with a high level of instrument competency. You will be trained in both normal and abnormal scenarios for VFR and IFR operations. Emphasis will be placed on flying in theIFR system.
New Cirrus pilots will obtain an Instrument Proficiency Check (IPC) sign off in conjunction with course completion.

Cirrus has a complete set of short courses to keep you current and safe in your Cirrus. After you have taken the Cirrus Transition Course (or Advanced Transition Course for IFR operation)
90 Day Refresher Course
This flight-based syllabus addresses piloting skills that often degrade shortly after transitioning into a new aircraft. The flight lesson is designed to fine-tune aircraft control and standard flight procedures. It’s recommended taking this course three months following the completion of Cirrus Transition or Differences training.
